Project Natal

We are so near to virtual reality. Kinect for Xbox 360(originally known by the code name Project Natal) is a "controller-free gaming and entertainment experience" by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 video game platform. Based around a webcam-style add-on peripheral for the Xbox 360 console, it enables users to control and interact with the Xbox 360 without the need to touch a game controller through a natural user interface using gestures, spoken commands, or presented objects and images. The project is aimed at broadening the Xbox 360's audience beyond its typical gamer base.

Here are some Link videos for Project Natal or Kinect:

Natal is scheduled to launch on November 4, 2010 worldwide with a fix price of $299.99 (Try to conver it yourself) enabling all previous xBox games will also be read-able to Natal, Imagine playing Halo on a controller-free console, Whatmore if you're playing some world war such as COD(Call of Duty) You'd have to duck/crawl/jump, for the character to do the same. That would be awesome. it is an addicting game, at the same time an exercise for you, well yes exercise. Cause you have to move your body to play. See again the vids, there's alot of games to see, Tekken type, Race car. Plus, the console is now internet-able! you can chat/internet on your own natal console! Awesome to the max.

Religion.

Religion has always been a major issue in all sorts of locations. It has sparked wars, divided families, crushed nations, destroyed peoples, set neighbors and brothers at each others throats. It has also consolidated splintered people against dissapearing, it has written rules by which a society that follows it will thrive, they have brought rules to those without conscience, saved brothers and sisters they don't even know, helped those who needed it most.

The question i pose are these; Would this crazy world we live in be better of or worse without religion in general? Does the good it does outweigh the bad, or the bad it does outweigh the good? Does it make sense at all to believe in a higher power?

There are so many different things to think about any religion. Some parts may be good, some bad. If there are things about religion that you think are good, then make a note of that, if there are bad things about another, say why. i don't want to see "OH SUCH AND SUCH SUCKS" and the like.

Also, please be sure to know what the heck you are talking about or at least be able to admit your wrong when you are discussing the specifics of a religion as it completely ruins your argument and messes up your credibility.

I have my own personal grudge match with christianity and its many splinter cults, for legitimate logical reasons I mgiht add. But for the arguments sake, I will stick with Christianity, Judaism, Muslim and Buddhist.

Christianity
These guys have been one of the ruling religions in the world for a while. With that power, they have committed atrocities such as the crusades and witch hunts all across Europe and the Americas. Originally a splinter cult from Judaism, they worship the son of God (which is all wrong in my opinion. Venerate, yes, worship, no) and believe in the opposite afterlives of heaven and hell (and sometimes purgatory). Christianity is composed of thousands of splinter groups in and of itself that all have varying specifics that all would like to throw off the mantle of playing nice and kill each other good and dead. These days they've gotten better; focusing on strength of community, helping those who need it, and furthering one's spiritual understanding of oneself.

Judaism
Though I know less about Judaism, Its consolidated and concise according to my knowledge. They worship God, who's name is never spoken in their tongue (Hebrew) and have been around since before the time of Christ. These guys have been summarily kicked out of just about every country in the world at one time or another and have still managed to stay alive and to some extent, thrive. Though these guys are less outspoken, they give a community a place to gather and consolidate.

Muslim
These are the USA's current "Bad Guys". Though the actual religion preaches nothing but peace and nonviolence, like allays, a tiny percent of them in splinter cults believe otherwise and have managed to get everybody upset at them. These guys are some of the most spiritual people I have met. Having not read the Koran, and not knowing a lot of details about them, I cant go into much further detail.

Buddhists
These guys are the hermits who live in mountain temples in Asia. They, for the most part, are pacifistic, human rights loving people who spend their days in contemplation and meditation. Though I'm not exactly sure, they are also those who have trained themselves as martial artist to protect themselves. They are in the front lines when it comes to human rights, especially in China/Tibet.

In general, I would say that Religion has kept us back from a lot of things, but kept us together across the world when we were desperately searching for something that was missing in our lives. In general it is/was a good thing, but if history could be rewritten, it needs some definite changes. And while I dont belive in the "God" that everyone else seems to, I admit that the presence of a higher being does exist in our world. After all, through random chance, the chance of us being as we are today is so astronomically improbably that it would have to be calculated as 0%.

A New Beginning.

Should we believe in such?

The Philippine constitution proclaimed its new leader last June 30, 2010. President Benigno Simeon "Noynoy" Aquino III. He was announced the winner of the national-presidential election a few months ago, He owe's a vote of over 15 million in total that shows the other candidates was forced to concede to him. But, can he really handle the matters and problems that our country's facing today? Let's see a background of him from MY point of view.

As a socialsite nerd, I've seen a couple of pictures and notes that compares Noynoy Aquino to other candidates. There's one picture that caught my attention so bad, I thought to myself, "Why is he even campaigning?" Here's the picture of what I'm pertaining to.

Sorry if its too small for you, but then comparing it to other candidates, What drove into Noynoy's mind that led him to be the next president? He's way behind when comparing to other presidentiables. Perhaps because of his popularity over his Father and Mother? That's crazy. Because of his famous sister? That's more. In a way, I don't find this phrase that he stated from his speech "A New Beginning." somewhat true after all,

I'm not anti-noynoy or whatever you guys we're thinking, its just my review, thoughts and words.

An experience.

A blog of me, with some enchanted thoughts.

When i was a graduating elementary student, I was so infavor of fairy tale and myth-like stories and movies, one movie that made my mind so open was Guillermo del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth, a goth like fairy tale movie, and Gabor Csupo's Bridge to Terabithia, a fairy tale movie about 2 preteens owning their own magical kingdom.

So anyway, here's the funny part.
Back last March 2006(Yes it is still memorable for me, because it was hella funny.) After watching those two films that made me so overjoyed, I was thinking like "I know! That can happen in reality." So, A day before finals. I was trying to study so hard so i can step up to High school easily. I was so stressed out with assignments, studies, and projects. And I was holding a T-square unknowingly and goof around like I am a king, of the kingdom called Koko's Supernatural Palace(Oh yeaah!) So, instead of studying, i pulled out a cartolina out of the *School Materials* closet, drew a crown, cut it out, and wear it! Hahah! with my Armies(Some Gundam action figures i collect since grade 3, Just a quick trivia)versus 1 Zoid Robot(Ahah! Yes, even those i collect them, until now) Set on a way-future year. I was setting up the story, and it went like. 1 normal day for the citizens of koko's palace, where suddenly a huge Dinosaur-embedded robot fired a missile on my palace's steel gate. Then, I standed on my bed, and shouted alone "Elite's! prepare for battle!" ..

oops~ Someone knocked on my door, It was my mother! i hid the toys and the crown under the blanket, and acted like i'm studying. She asked me, "Are you playing?! Don't you dare play nor open that computer, You know you have exams tomorrow!", "No, it wasn't me mom, maybe it was kevin(my brother) who's playing.", "Ahh very well."

Mwahaha! My mom's gone, back to the war. And so, i said the phrase again, though whispering it to myself so that my mom won't knock again :p, *Too shy to tell the rest of the story* After playing with my toys, my story ended like, my Armies were defeated, and the robot is standing-still. *acting again on my own* I tried to reach for my gun wherein it is really a hanger for clothes. :\. And acted like i was trying to fire the robot down, with some normal bullets. "Oh god! It didn't work, Let's go, Proton Cannon(From Ironman)" Ohh hey, The proton cannon i mentioned was the T-square. Hahaha! And again, Loudly shouted, "Die, you filthy robot! *Swooooooooosh~ Kaboom!*" Try to understand the sound effect. The Robot was destroyed, My kingdom was saved. Woooh :p *Then a commercial came up from TV, clapping* I laughed so hard of what I am doing, and didn't know I was playing around for 2 hours, Imagine 2 hours of fiction and fantasy. What am i thinking? hahaha!

From Hobby to Passion.

I've been thinking about this for quite sometime now. How addictive am I really? Well I don't have many friends, I spend most of my day thinking about gaming. Wow, I really am antisocial! It won't be fair to blame this on my Computer Games however since I've been a gamer long before console was ever released. I'm trying to remember the first game I ever played. If I recall correctly it was a lost boy named tomba, the last time i played that game is when I was like seven years old.

I've always had passion for gaming, It's my hobby, my escape from reality. The reason for me creating this blog is purely due to my passion for games. Yeah sure, my English is not the best but I try to at least make it readable (and hopefully entertaining). Every time i complete a post, I feel that sense of satisfaction since I truly believe I've just contributed something to my source of entertainment. I sincerely apologize if I'm a little deep here.

The famous foul word.

Took me 3 hours to think over a topic to blog. And came to my mind, why is the word "f^ck" so popular? and used by many. Do they, or we (Yes, even i use the word as an expression), even know where did the word originated? So, here's a little copy paste-d paragraph of where the popular word came from.

In ancient England, a person could not have s-x unless you had the consent of the king, (Unless you were in the Royal Family). When anyone wanted a baby, they get the consent of the king, the king gave them a placard that they hung on their door while they're having s-x. The acronym "Fornication Under the Consent of the King."

Thus the word, F.^.C.K.
